Safaris in Tanzania are mainly based on morning and afternoon game drives,but there are many chances to see wildlife animals. Nocturnal animals have an opportunity to be seen during night game drive experience. Walking safaris are wonderful ways to learn about small animals, different paths and plant life. A boat safari is the best way to get near to water animals like crocodiles and hippos.
Weather & Climate
June and October are concided to be the dry season due to the day time temperature being between 20oC/68oF and 30oC/86oF. It is useful to know that the higher you go the cooler it becomes. November and May starts off the wet season with short rains from November-December.
Best Time To Visit Tanzania
The Dry season is the best when it comes to viewing wildlife. Malking it also better for viewing wildebeest migration in the Northern and Western Serengeti. The wildebeests are seen in the southern Serengeti in the months (January-February) to have give birth and protect their calves. During (November to May) some parks in the Southern and Western region are limited in the wet season, while in the Northern region there are productive game drives in this time.
