Visiting the Ngorongoro Crater is a life time expierience as the worl’ds only intact caldera, the crater is most attraction of th 8,292km2/3,202mi2 Ngorongoro coservaton Area. The Ngorongoro Crater has most of the best wildlife in Africa. The main predators are lions and spotted hyenas, but the leopards are always seen as well. The population of black rhinos is very big as rhinos are more difficult to see else where in Tanzania. The Crater is also home to a nice number of old elepantsbulls with large tusks. These lone giants usually be super relaxed around vehicles, which leads in very unique sighting.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is very beautiful. along side the well known Ngorongoro Crater, the Empakaaiand and Olmti Craters are scenic gems worth visiting . The thik rim of the Ngororngoro Crater is in stark contrast to the grrassland and marsh on the Crater floor, where Saline Lake Magadi is home to large flocks of pink -hued flamingos.
The Ngorongoro Crater is usually explored on a full day drive with a picnic lunch.Eventhough the crater is very busy. By contrast, little undertake a day trip to the beautiful and hiker-friendly Empakaai and Olmpoti Craters. The Ngorongoro Crater hasba mild climate. Day time temperature is threr , but it cools down always at night. This is usually on the crater rim. During the area’s of dry season from June-October days are mostly sunny. Cloudy weather and severe rainfall are to be expected in the wet season from November-May.
You can see wildlife on the crater floor any time of the year. But visiting is better in the dry season (June to October), when the grass is short and smaller animals are easier to see. Also, mist and rainfall is likely not to disturb your safari at this time.
