Lake Manyara National Park is dominated by a shallow alkaline at the base of the rift valley escapment. it famous for it’s tree climbing lions and large elephant herdsThe entre of the park leads to groundwater forest, which are home to big number of olive baboons and blue monkey. Due to lake Manyara’s high water level in recent years, there isn’t a game-drive track following the shore any more.This is sadly changed the standard of the wildlife and birding very much However, four of the big five are present (rhinoes are absent).Animals easily seen include Buffaloe, girrafe, zebrah, elephant and wilderbeest. Looking out for solitary bushbuck creeping around in the forest under growth and pairs of Klipspringer balancing on rocks near the hot springs (Maji Moto).

You’ll will see alot of wildlife quickly on game drives, but thier are other to get closer to the nature in park. On a night drive you’ll have a chance to find creatures that are active at night, and on a canoe safri you might possibly see the big -hued flamingoes for which the park is famous. Lake Manyara can as well be toured on foot. And if your nerves can take it, the treetop walkway is a must.
Lake Manyara’s averege day time reach aroun 280c/820F in the wet season(November to May).
