9 Days Classic Tanzania trip
9-day Classic Tanzania trip: Enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania’s best national park on this 9-day Classic Tanzania trip. Africa’s best national park is the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s best wildlife park, which is situated in the country’s north. The vast yearly migration of zebras and wildebeests is the main draw of Serengeti National Park. The herds leave their breeding habitats and head north into the green southern plains, crossing the Grumeti River route in search of fresh pasture. If you did not spot any animals in the Serengeti or for whatever reason, you should visit all three of the national parks: Tarangire, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Ngorongoro National Park. Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp, Roika Tarangire Lodge, and Baobab Tented Camp
Get up early, have a cup of coffee or tea in the morning, and then head out for Tarangire National Park. From Arusha, it takes roughly 4 hours by car, with sightseeing breaks along the way. After arriving at the lodge, check in for lunch. In the afternoon, go on a game drive. In the evening, return by car to our lodging for a leisurely evening that includes dinner and an overnight stay.
Following breakfast and picnic lunch boxes, we head to Tarangire National Park in order to meet up with the park’s early risers. Bringing your picnic lunch box, you will enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing from the park’s undiscovered creatures, which are spread over the entire area. The park offers visitors a wide variety of flora, fauna, and birdlife, ranging from tiny Dik diks to enormous elephants, lions, buffalos, and many more. Following our extensive wildlife drives, you will head back to the resort for dinner, a relaxing sunset, and an overnight stay.
Following an early breakfast at your Tarangire lodge, you will travel through the Ngorongoro conservation region on your way to the Serengeti National Park. In addition to your game viewing, you can spend four hours driving and visit Tanzania’s renowned Olduvai Gorge, where early human bones were found in the 1950s by Dr. Leaky and Louis. Rejoin the main road after exiting the museum to continue our drive to the Serengeti National Park. Once you have cleared the gate, head to the lodge to check in, have some refreshments, and have lunch. After lunch, head out for an evening game drive on the wide, open plains where you can see a variety of wildlife, including birds, mammals, and reptiles. After supper, we back to our lodging at the Serengeti Serena lodging, Osinon Lodges and Camps, or Serengeti Heritage Lodge to spend the night.
Our driving guide will pick up our lunch boxes and transport them to the car as we begin our 9-day Classic Tanzania vacation after a delectable breakfast, which is typically given at the resort between 6:30 and 7:30 am. As soon as we begin seeing animals right outside the lodge, the roof of our safari car will be raised. We search for these creatures by driving as far as we can, focusing on the uncommon but easily observable tree-climbing lions, as well as other animals like serval cats, dikdiks, hippos, and wildebeest. After taking a lunch break at the visitor center, we spend the entire day at the park going on game drives.
Get up early and make arrangements to board a hot air balloon. Your driver will collect you and take you to the balloon’s launch site, where the pilot will give you a briefing before we take off. Take in the fantastic launch site as you begin your early morning ascent while feeling the crisp Serengeti breeze. When the weather is chilly and the animals are more active in the morning as they search for their daily sustenance, balloon safaris can add a wonderful experience to your safari.
As an alternative, we will have morning and afternoon game drives to explore all the park’s isolated sections and see Day 7: Journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation area and Crater.
With the dreams and experiences of the past few days, we will leave the Serengeti in search of a new, exciting challenge that is even better and more thrilling. After exiting the Serengeti gate, we enter the newly created Ngorongoro National Park, where we will encounter a lot of animals and only Masaai people throughout the drive.everything we missed the day before. Dinner at the lodge and spending the night there Day 8: Journey to the National Park of Lake Manyara
Get up early to have breakfast before we head to Lake Manyara National Park, the actual home of the big five—lions, leopards, and tree-climbing lions. There are more and more birds because Lake Manyara National Park is one of the best parks in the Great Rift Valley. Depending on the season you arrive, we can go on a canopy walk at the top of the trees or have an afternoon boat ride at the lake if it is raining. Return by car to Nysa Lodge, Elileens Tree Lodge, or Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for supper, refreshment, and overnight lodging.
Make your way to Arusha after breakfast. Depending on your subsequent flight home with lunch in route, the drive takes two hours and includes lunch in Arusha. Safari’s end
