To Serengeti National Park –you will witness the wildebeest great migration and the best area of the park to enjoy – takes you to areas of Lobo area ‘’north of the central Serengeti National Park and Wagakuria area ‘’remote northern Serengeti region’’ where the majority of the wildebeest migration is best done from August to October.

The ideal months to witness the migration at Serengeti National Park are August through October. The migration splits into two paths during this time of year and moves north out of the middle Serengeti. In magnificent stampedes, the main herd or group crosses the Grumenti River and heads toward the western corridor. Meanwhile, giant Nile crocodiles wait quietly by the river, waiting to seize wildebeests as they rush to cross.
To get to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, they will cross the Mara River again after crossing the Grumenti River.
Upon arriving in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, on the first day of the 7-day Tanzania Wildebeest Great Migration Safari. After a cordial greeting from our safari representative guide, you will be driven to your Arusha hotel. Dinner and the night before.

Following a leisurely breakfast, you will head towards the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The approximate 4-hour drive from Arusha will get you there in time for lunch at the lodge, where you may check in before going on an afternoon wildlife drive around the crater floor. You will drop 600 meters to the crater floor, where you can search for wildlife.

In addition to seeing wildlife, a game drive should include a stop at Lake Magadi, a sizable shallow alkaline lake in the crater’s southwest corner. You will love seeing the many flamingos, hippos, and other water species, such as cormorants, that call this lake, one of the crater’s principal attractions, home. You will return by car to the lodge by 6 p.m. for dinner and an overnight stay.

After arriving at your lodge in time for lunch, have a wildlife drive in the afternoon over the stunning Lobo region plains. It will be exciting to watch as vast herds of wildebeests travel and as several predators pursue them in search of prey.
Lunch; Full Board
After breakfast, you will travel with a packed lunch to the Seronera Area, which is the heart of the Serengeti National Park and is centered around Lobo and the Grummet Area, for a full day of wildlife viewing. This Lobo region draws a great deal of wildlife all year round. During the game drive, you can see a variety of non-migrating species, including elephants, buffalo, gazelles, lions, zebras, leopards, and cheetahs.
One of the Seronera area’s once-in-a-lifetime experiences is the exhilarating riverine trees that border the riverbanks. You can enjoy witnessing a variety of bird species, such as fish eagles and kingfishers, as well as many more.
After supper, make your way back to your lodge for the night.
Lunch: Complete Board
After eating breakfast, get up and move into Wagakuria, the extreme northern section of Serengeti National Park. You will go on a game drive on route from the Lobo region to the Wagakuria region.
Get to your lodge in time for lunch, and then take an afternoon game drive through the Wagakuria region. Depending on rainfall patterns, this region is typically home to the wildebeest migration, which takes place from August to October.
Along the stretch of Mara River that creates a boundary between Serengeti National Park and Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya offering the migration with the most difficult obstacle in their annual journey. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken and unflooded caldera in the world with a diameter of about 20 square kilometers and 600 meters profound.
With its breathtaking scenery and astounding wildlife populations, the ancient caldera is considered the eighth wonder of the world and is home to about 30,000 creatures. Among other things, you might get to see all five of the Big 5 mammals.
After a leisurely late breakfast beside the hippo pool within the crater, you will continue your wildlife drive within the Crater till the afternoon. In the afternoon, depart from the crater bottom to have a hot meal at the resort. Drive back to Arusha for three to four hours after lunch.
