The world’s premier park, Serengeti National Park, is the setting for the 7-day Tanzania Wildebeest Great Migration Safari, which is a fantastic and well-planned wildebeest migration safari event specifically designed to give you a good opportunity of witnessing the great wildebeest migration.
The annual migration of over ten thousand Thomson and Grant’s gazelles and over two million wildebeests, who follow an ancient map of the Serengeti – Mara ecosystem in search of green pastures and water, is considered one of the largest wildlife migrations in the world.
The best places to see the great migration of wild animals in the Serengeti National Park are the areas of Lobo, which is located “north of the central Serengeti National Park,” and Wagakuria, which is located in the “remote northern Serengeti region.” From August to October is when the majority of the wild animal migration occurs.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the ideal safari location for the world’s largest intact coldera, is also included in this tour.
The ideal months to witness the migration at Serengeti National Park are August through October. The migration splits into two paths during this time of year and moves north out of the middle Serengeti. After crossing the Grumenti River, the merd/group moves in magnificent stampedes towards the western corridor, where they bridge the Grumenti River. At the river, massive Nile crocodiles calmly wait to pounce on wildebeests as they rush to cross.
To get to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, they will cross the Mara River again after crossing the Grumenti River.
Upon arriving in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, on the first day of the 7-day Tanzania Wildebeest Great Migration Safari. After a cordial greeting from our safari representative guide, you will be driven to your Arusha hotel. Dinner and the night before. a in herd or group moves into the western corridor.

You will go 600 meters down to the crater floor to search for wildlife. Additionally, this lake is one one of the crater’s principal characteristics, and it is home to lots of flamingos, hippos, and other water species like cormorants that you can enjoy seeing. You will return by car to the lodge by 6 p.m. for dinner and an overnight stay.
Following breakfast, depart the resort and make your way to the Serengeti National Park, located in the center of Africa. This park boasts magnificent grasslands, an abundance of species, including the Big Five, predators, and the places where the famous migration of wildebeests occurs. You will then continue your trip to the “Lobo Area,” the northernmost part of the Seronera area in the central Serengeti park.
The main attraction of this safari is the big wildebeest migration, which often travels through the Lobo Area in July or August on its way to Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve.
After arriving at your lodge in time for lunch, have a wildlife drive in the afternoon over the stunning Lobo region plains. It will be exciting to watch as vast herds of wildebeests travel and as several predators pursue them in search of prey.
After breakfast, you will travel with a packed lunch to the Seronera Area, which is the heart of the Serengeti National Park and is centered around Lobo and the Grummet Area, for a full day of wildlife viewing. There is a lot of game in this Lobo region all year round. If you go on a game drive, you can see non-migrating animals like lions, zebras, buffalo, gazelles, and elephants.
lots more cheetahs and leopards.
One of the Seronera area’s once-in-a-lifetime experiences is the exhilarating riverine trees that border the riverbanks. You can enjoy witnessing a variety of bird species, such as fish eagles and kingfishers, as well as many more.
After supper, make your way back to your lodge for the night.
After eating breakfast, get up and move into Wagakuria, the extreme northern section of Serengeti National Park. You will go on a game drive on route from the Lobo region to the Wagakuria region.

Nevertheless, it produces the migration’s most magnificent and breathtaking episode—the Mara River Crossing.
