Walk with the Maasai
In the morning of Amboseli and Masai Mara Safari, you will first be driven to Wilson Airport and fly to Amboseli. When you land on the bush airstrip, you should find your guide waiting for you to take you to the camp for the three days.
Accommodation is offered in an elegant, tented suite. After settling in and having lunch, go with a knowledgeable guide and a tracker for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is visited for its beautiful landscapes.
Give the next couple of days exploring the area with Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s tallest mountain, presiding over it. Large herds of elephants, known for their impressive tucks, live.
You can see wildlife on a game drive or bush walk in the privet concession during your Amboseli safari. Ine with a very tasty dish under an umbrella thorn tree during a bush breakfast or gathering round a campfire to reminisce about the day’s adventure.
For your East Africa Safari in the morning, enjoy the last morning game drive or game drive in Amboseli followed by breakfast, after which you will be driven to the airport to board a flight to Nairobi. At Wilson Airport, you will board another flight and travel to the Masai Mara.
On landing, set off for a guided game drive to the Mara safari camp for the next 3 nights. Accordingly, it is offered elegant safari tents in an exclusive camp. After settling in and having lunch, head out on a game in one of Africa’s most iconic destinations.
The remaining couple of days of your East African safari will be spent game watching in the Mara, home of the Great Migration, where 2 million wildebeest and zebra migrate in a continual search for fresh grazing and water.
The Masai Mara is also Big Cat country, and seeing predators such as lions is common. Set out on guided walks led by a knowledgeable Masai guide who will tell you about the drama of survival on the African plains.
On the last day of your Kenya Masai Mara Safari, there will be time for a last game drive and last photos before breakfast. Then the guide will drive you back to the airport to catch a flight back to Wilson Airport.
Then you will either be driven to the Nairobi Airport for your onwards travel correct arrangements or speak to one of our Destination Specialists about arranging accommodation in Nairobi or to the Kenyan coast.
