We pick you up early in the morning from your Arusha accommodation to begin your four days in Tanzania. You will head for Tarangire National Park, which is renowned for its numerous elephant herds and stunning baobab trees, after enjoying a delicious breakfast.
You can see snippets of local life as you travel through Tanzania’s picturesque countryside on your route to Tarangire National Park. Drive straight into Tarangire National Park as you arrive for an exhilarating game drive where you can discover the park’s many ecosystems and fauna. Always remember to bring your camera for some very amazing wildlife photos in the midst of the acacia and savannah trees.
After having a picnic lunch in the gorgeous natural setting of the park, you will resume your safari adventure. You will have additional opportunities to see wildlife in the afternoon as you travel across Tarangire’s vast plains. Then, as the day gets closer, head back to your lodging. Dinner and a well-earned nap while thinking back on the events of the day.
After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti, passing past the Ngorongoro Crater and stopping to take in the view The Maasai phrase Siringitu, which means “endless plains,” is whence the word “Serengeti” originates. The Kopjes are the sole interruption to this area. The weathering of granite outcrops created these strange rock formations known as Kopjes.
