This two-day Ngorongoro and Tarangire safari sounds like a quick safari tour package, made for individuals who would like to enjoy and share their experiences in our safari vehicle with a small group of people. Although it appears to be a brief safari package, there will be much more time spent seeing animals in Tarangire National Park and seeing the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Expect to see every one of the Big Five in both of these national parks, with the exception of the Serengeti.
Although the group van can pick you up in Karatu or Manyara along route, the excursion begins in Arusha.
Following an early-morning breakfast, your hotel-provided packed lunchboxes will be served. Take a group game drive around Tarangire National Park for the entire day.
The Manyara Region is home to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s sixth-largest national park. Because the Tarangire River passes the park, the park got its name. During the yearly dry season, wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem get their fresh water from the Tarangire River.
Be aware that the long-distance migration of different zebra species and wildebeest defines the Tarangire Ecosystem. After lunch at around noon, you will continue on with the remaining portion of the game drive.
You will then take a car to the lodge or camp that you have reserved for supper and the night.
On your final day, depart the crater rim at approximately 9:00 am for a full-day excursion that includes a picnic lunch. There are about 25,000 huge animals living in the area, 26 of which are black rhinoceroses. Around 7,000 wildebeests, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 elands, and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles also call it home. There are many lions in the crater, representing 62 different species. More up in the crater rim rainforests are spotted hyenas, jackals, rare wild dogs, cheetahs, and other felines, along with roughly thirty huge elephants, mountain reedbuck, and four thousand buffalo.
the renowned yearly migration of wildebeests across Ngorongoro. Millions of them enter the region from the south in December and depart in June, moving north. The reserve’s plains are home to 1.7 million wildebeests, 260,000 zebras, and 470,000 gazelles, among other migratory species. Once you return to Arusha by car, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
